MODERN MYTHOLOGIES PROJECT is a performance research project founded by Peker in 2006, inspired by her experiences in physical theater and experimental music. With its solo performances MMP intends to reverse the process of artistic creation and to revert the mimetic impulse to its formative myth-making state; and tries to convert art works into modern mythologies.
MODERN MYTHOLOGIES PROJECT 2006 yılında Peker'in fiziksel tiyatro ve deneysel müzik alanındaki deneyimlerinden yola çıkarak başlattığı bir performans araştırması projesidir. MMP solo performanslar ile sanatsal yaratım sürecini tersine çevirmeyi ve mimetik dürtüyü yalın ve mitolojik haline döndürmeyi hedeflemekte; sanat eserlerini modern mitolojilere dönüştürmeyi denemektedir.
